#5. Give him some space
There is a difference between being attached and being needy. It’s great to share your life with somebody you are in love with but all this dependence can take a turn if one partner becomes too needy. If you feel you are being too possessive or needy, talk to him and take a step back. Give him some room to breathe and show him that you too are capable of handling your life perfectly.
#6. Be supportive
Make sure he is able to lean on your shoulder when he is down. It’s not always about your day, he has bad days too. Be present when he needs an ear and shoulder. Be supportive of his choices and massage his ego every once in a while.
#7. Revive old scents
You may have settled in a relationship by now and everyday things may become routines. How about taking a trip back the memory lane and not just with pictures. Try using the similar scents when you two first started dating like your expensive perfume you would only wear for date nights and your old shampoo.
#8. Have a life of your own
And while you are trying to get your boyfriend’s attention, don’t get too absorbed in his life. Focus on your life too. Hang out with friends and family, focus on your work, go shopping. Let him know that you have a life of your own.
