Resist the urge to reach for your smart-phone or tablet near bedtime. Not only will it  keep you up longer, it also impacts the quality of sleep. The blue light radiated from these devices can suppress the melatonin levels in your body. Not getting enough sleep will not just affect your next day, it can also lead to various diseases.

#2. Skipping sleep

Not only it takes a toll on your mood the next day, skipping on sleep can also impact the way your body works. It leads to production of cortisol which makes you more stressed and prevents your brain from getting enough rest and repair.

Some of us can barely brush our teeth twice a day and then there are people who brush their teeth after every meal. Well, if you are one of those, stop brushing immediately after eating especially if you have consumed acidic foods such as cola, oranges or fizzy drinks. Immediately brushing after eating acidic foods can weaken teeth.
